Scripture Reading
“Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.” – Luke 17:15
Devotional Thought
When God answers a prayer, performs a miracle, or fulfills a promise—we rejoice. But too often, we move on quickly, forgetting to return and give thanks.
In Luke 17, ten lepers were healed by Jesus. Yet only one turned back to thank Him. The others received their healing, but the grateful one received something deeper—wholeness. Gratitude completes what grace begins.
When we remember to thank God, we stay connected to the Source, not just the blessing. Gratitude reminds us that every answered prayer, every moment of provision, and every door opened is evidence of His faithfulness.
Gratitude is not a reaction; it’s a rhythm of worship. The more we practice it, the more we recognize God’s hand at work in even the smallest details of our lives.
Take time today to pause and thank Him—not just for what He’s done, but for who He is.
