Scripture Reading
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:14
Devotional Thought
Stillness isn’t weakness—it’s surrender. When the Israelites stood before the Red Sea with Pharaoh’s army closing in, panic seemed like the only option. But Moses reminded them that their strength wouldn’t come from striving—it would come from standing still and trusting God to move.
In a culture that glorifies busyness and hustle, God calls His people to rest in His power. Stillness isn’t doing nothing—it’s actively trusting that God is working even when we can’t see it. True faith isn’t proven by how much we do for God but by how deeply we depend on Him.
When life feels overwhelming, pause. Pray. Be still. The same God who parted the sea still fights for you today.

Prayer
Lord, help me to stop fighting battles You’ve already won. Teach me to rest in Your power and trust Your timing. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are in control. I choose stillness today—because You are my defender and my peace. Amen.
