Faithfulness in the Small Things Leads Us to the Lost

Scripture Reading

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” – Luke 19:10

Devotional Thought

Last week, we talked about stewardship — being faithful with what God has placed in our hands. This week, God gave us a real-world reminder of what that faithfulness looks like when it’s lived out: The Big Search in Pensacola.

Serving with Free International, Say Something, and local partners wasn’t just an outreach event — it was a picture of the heart of Jesus. As we walked neighborhoods, talked with families, shared resources, and searched for the vulnerable, we stepped directly into the mission Jesus lived:
to seek and to save the lost.

Many people think evangelism or missions is a “big calling,” but the truth is this:
Most Kingdom-impact moments happen through simple obedience.
A conversation. A prayer. A willingness to show up.
A heart that says, “Here am I, send me.”

The Big Search reminded us that God doesn’t ask for perfection — He asks for availability.
And when we steward our time, our compassion, and our presence, He places us where light is needed most.

This week, reflect on this:

You don’t need a platform to be used by God.
You just need a heart willing to go where He sends… even if that means walking into the broken places of your own community.

Reflection Questions

  1. Where has God given you opportunities to “seek the lost” in your everyday life?

  2. How can you be more available to the people God puts in your path?

  3. What did God show you through the Big Search that you need to carry into your daily walk?

Prayer

Lord, thank You for trusting us to carry Your heart into the world. Give me the courage to show up, the compassion to care, and the discernment to see the people most in need of Your love. Help me steward every moment so I can reflect Jesus — the One who came to seek and save the lost. Amen.

Here’s how your contribution makes a difference:

Your partnership helps bring light into some of the darkest places in our nation. By standing with us, you join a movement that rescues, restores, and equips communities to fight human trafficking and exploitation.

What Your Support Makes Possible:

✅ Leading mission teams into cities most affected by trafficking, bringing hope and practical resources.
✅ Hosting school assemblies that reach thousands of students with life-saving messages about bullying, exploitation, and suicide prevention.
✅ Training teachers and administrators to recognize warning signs and protect vulnerable youth.
✅ Providing resources, aftercare, and long-term hope for survivors of exploitation.

Why Your Support Matters:

  • For Individuals: You can be part of the rescue. Your monthly or one-time gift turns personal compassion into tangible impact, helping survivors and protecting the next generation.

  • For Churches: Partnering allows your congregation to live out the Great Commission by standing against injustice, mobilizing mission teams, and supporting community restoration in cities like Las Vegas and Detroit.

  • For Gyms & Fitness Communities: Fitness for Freedom events allow gyms to raise awareness, host competitions, and show that strength is not just physical—it’s about defending and restoring lives.

✅ All contributions are tax-deductible and processed through Say Something at the link below

Together, we can fight for freedom, protect the vulnerable, and bring hope where it’s needed most.
