Scripture Reading
“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Devotional Thought
Standing in the gap is powerful — but staying there is costly.
The work of justice, rescue, and restoration rarely comes with immediate results. Progress can feel slow. Stories can feel heavy. Victories are often quiet, unseen, and misunderstood. In moments like these, weariness creeps in — not because the work isn’t holy, but because it is.
Our partnership with Free International places us in spaces where darkness is real and outcomes aren’t always visible. We may not see instant freedom. We may not witness full restoration. But Scripture reminds us that faithfulness is never wasted — even when results are delayed.
God does not ask us to be successful by the world’s standards.
He asks us to be faithful by Heaven’s.
Galatians 6:9 calls us to persevere — not fueled by adrenaline or applause, but by obedience and trust. The harvest is God’s responsibility. Our role is to keep sowing, even when the soil looks hard.
This week, if you feel tired, discouraged, or unseen, remember:
You are not late.
You are not ineffective.
You are not forgotten.
You are faithful — and God sees every seed.
Reflection Questions
Where have you felt weary in doing good lately?
What expectations might you need to release back to God?
How can you continue sowing faithfully, even without immediate results?
Prayer
Father, strengthen me when obedience feels heavy. Help me trust You with the outcome while I remain faithful in the calling. Renew my strength, steady my heart, and remind me that You see every unseen act of love. Amen.
