Scripture Reading:
“The Lord said, ‘I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.’” – Exodus 3:7
God Hears the Cries of the Oppressed
In Exodus 3:7, God speaks to Moses, assuring him that He has not ignored the cries of His people enslaved in Egypt. Their groaning reached Heaven, and the Lord declared His concern and His plan for rescue.
This is not just a story from the past—it’s a window into God’s heart. Today, millions are enslaved through human trafficking. Children forced into exploitation, women coerced into labor or sexual slavery, and men trapped in cycles of abuse—all cry out, even when their voices are silenced by fear.
According to UNICEF, over 1.2 million children are trafficked globally each year. Many endure conditions no child should face. Their cries may be ignored by society, but never by God. He is still the God who sees, hears, and acts.
Our Call to Compassion
If God hears the cries of the oppressed, then as His people, we must also open our ears and hearts. To follow Christ is to share in His concern for the vulnerable.
It can feel overwhelming—how can one person respond to a problem so vast? Yet God often begins His work through the faithful obedience of individuals. Moses was just one man, yet God used him to lead an entire nation out of slavery. Likewise, you and I can join God’s mission through prayer, awareness, and action in our own communities.
A Call to Prayer
When we pray for the vulnerable, we align ourselves with the heart of God. Prayer is not a substitute for action—it is the fuel that ignites it.
Prayer:
Lord, You hear the cries of the innocent. Today, I intercede for children and families trapped in trafficking. Comfort them with Your presence. Raise up rescuers, advocates, and protectors. Give me the courage to respond in obedience to Your call. Amen.
Take Action
Pray specifically for children at risk in your city. Write their names or general groups in a prayer journal.
Learn the signs of trafficking. Many government and nonprofit organizations provide free training resources.
Advocate for prevention by supporting programs that focus on vulnerable youth, mentoring, and safe housing.
God calls us not to carry the whole burden but to faithfully carry our part. Every prayer and action matters.
Your partnership helps bring light into some of the darkest places in our nation. By standing with us, you join a movement that rescues, restores, and equips communities to fight human trafficking and exploitation.
What Your Support Makes Possible:
✅ Leading mission teams into cities most affected by trafficking, bringing hope and practical resources.
✅ Hosting school assemblies that reach thousands of students with life-saving messages about bullying, exploitation, and suicide prevention.
✅ Training teachers and administrators to recognize warning signs and protect vulnerable youth.
✅ Providing resources, aftercare, and long-term hope for survivors of exploitation.
Why Your Support Matters:
For Individuals: You can be part of the rescue. Your monthly or one-time gift turns personal compassion into tangible impact, helping survivors and protecting the next generation.
For Churches: Partnering allows your congregation to live out the Great Commission by standing against injustice, mobilizing mission teams, and supporting community restoration in cities like Las Vegas and Detroit.
For Gyms & Fitness Communities: Fitness for Freedom events allow gyms to raise awareness, host competitions, and show that strength is not just physical—it’s about defending and restoring lives.
